# Third-party notices

The reusable website combines original code with the following externally
authored projects and services. Their licenses and trademarks remain theirs.

## Tufted

The site is inspired by and builds on [Tufted](https://github.com/vsheg/tufted)
by Vsevolod Shegolev. Tufted's repository code is MIT-licensed, and its
distributable template is MIT-0. The original copyright and license notices
remain available in the upstream repository.

## Tufte CSS

The HTML style is based on [Tufte CSS](https://github.com/edwardtufte/tufte-css),
created by Dave Liepmann with contributions from the project contributors and
design direction from Edward Tufte. Tufte CSS is released under the MIT
License. This site loads its minified stylesheet from cdnjs rather than
redistributing a local copy.

## PDF.js

The presentation viewer loads [PDF.js](https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/) from
cdnjs. PDF.js is distributed by Mozilla under the Apache License, version 2.0.

## Typst and packages

The site uses [Typst](https://typst.app) and packages from the Typst Universe,
including Bullseye, Citegeist, Frame-It, Arkheion, Quick Maths, Tablem,
Touying, and the Metropolis theme. Packages are fetched by Typst and remain
under the licenses declared by their respective authors and package
repositories. Check each package's current license before redistributing a
vendored copy.

## External services

The optional browser utilities contact Gutendex, Standard Ebooks, Project
Gutenberg, r.jina.ai, and jsDelivr. These are network services, not part of the
template's license grant. The digest can contact RSS publishers, YouTube,
Reddit, weather/event/election sites, Gmail IMAP, and an SMTP provider.
